Viral video shows a black man armed with a hammer confronting a white man who called him a racial slur before the argument escalated into a physical fight

A video shared on social media shows a confrontation between two men escalating into a fight when one in every of them overtly uses a racist term.

The video shows a black man confronting a white man in what’s believed to be an apartment constructing after he claims the white man called him the N-word.

“You just called me an a*****r, bro,” a black man says, stepping out of the parking zone onto the sidewalk to approach a white man carrying a beer bottle. “You just said you were going to kick my ass, like, three times.”

A black man is heard saying that he had only met the white man the day before and that he was “cool” before the meeting.

“I won’t fall for any bullshit,” a white man could be heard saying as the two men pass one another.

“What do you mean I’m talking s***? You said ‘nigger.’ I told you to watch your word,” the black man says, an accusation the white man denies.

Then, immediately after denying he used the slur, the white man says, “You ain’t gonna pull me on these niggas. I’ll bust your ass.”

Throughout the altercation, the black man had his hands behind his back, but at this point he moved them to the front of his body to indicate that he was holding a carpenter’s hammer, which he had been hiding the entire time.

“That word is fucking offensive, man. Don’t use it,” he tells the white man.

“Did I use that?” the white man replies, closing the distance between himself and the other man.

The white man tries to grab the hammer away from him, but the black man hits him.

The altercation begins as two white women, a mother and daughter, appear on the video, attempting to restrain the two men.

A black man overpowers a white man, punching him repeatedly and sending him to the ground, when the white man finally drops a beer bottle. One woman tries to tug him away while her daughter tries to maintain her from getting involved.

The black man could be heard saying, “I’m gone,” and walking away with the hammer.

The video has been viewed by thousands and thousands of individuals and shared 1000’s of times on X. Several commenters noted that the white man’s actions have consequences.

“You are free to say whatever you want and face the consequences,” one person commented.

“His brother tried to talk some sense into him and be polite, but no one wanted to listen,” one other person said.
