In the clip, the two actors recount an unforgettable incident from 2013 when Beyoncé’s hair got caught in a fan during the performance of “Halo” at her concert in Montreal.

Tina remembered the moment vividly, asking Farinah, “What were you doing the night our hair got caught in that fan?”

A surprised Farinah, who has worked with the Grammy-winning star for greater than 18 years, replied: “Why are you bringing it up now?”

The celebrity mom then shared a memory of what happened when Bey’s hair got caught in the fan and tangled in its blades. “I was standing on the side of the stage,” Farinah began. “And I was like, ‘Cut it,'” Knowles added. Farinah continued, “And she was like, ‘Mom, will you cut my hair?'”

“We unplugged the fan and turned it the other way to free the hair,” Farinah said, explaining how they managed to untangle Bey’s hair from the fan blades.

When Tina asked if she remembered what Beyoncé was doing during the ordeal, Farinah actually didn’t remember. But that didn’t matter, as the grande dame of the BeyHive remembered saying, “She just wouldn’t stop singing,” embodying the “show must go on” mantra.

Beyoncé’s fans flooded the comments, shocked by the behind-the-scenes story and recalling how their favorite star emerged from a potentially dangerous situation with flying colours.

One fan wrote: “We remember it like it was yesterday. Beyoncé just kept singing like she wasn’t in pain from the horrible pain that the fan almost inflicted on her! Proving why she is the BEST artist of our time!”

Another fan added: “10000% she kept singing and Julius was losing his mind trying to get her down.”

A 3rd fan addressed the funny note Beyoncé posted after the incident, writing, “That note she wrote after that performance will always be funny lol.”

Beyoncé did indeed respond on social media at the time, posting a handwritten note describing the incident.

Note To read partly, “Gravity can’t pull me out of the fan again. I felt like my hair was being pulled,” adding, “From the fan I always hate.”

Launched in February 2024, Cécred is constructing on Beyoncé’s popularity, which has been a driving force behind the brand in the Black haircare market, which is now home to a slew of celebrity-led brands.

Unlike most, Beyoncé’s connection to hair care, beauty, and fashion runs deep. In addition to her mother’s experience as a salon owner, she co-founded the now-defunct House of Deréon in 2006, launched the Ivy Park sports collection in 2016, and recently released a latest fragrance, Cé Noir.
