5 Questions for Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Lewis
How to develop into a nine-time Olympic gold medalist? Former track and field athlete Carl Lewis calls it the work of a lifetime. From 1979 to 1996, Lewis was a force to be reckoned with within the sprint and long jump. He is one in all only 4 Olympic athletes to win nine Olympic gold medals, making him one in all the best athletes of all time.
Lewis stopped by theGrio for our latest “5 Questions With…” series, where we go one-on-one with among the sport’s most iconic trendsetters. The (*5*) talked about his latest Tide campaign with Noah Lyles, the good athletes of this generation and his advice for anyone training for the Olympics.
It’s hard to assume Noah Lylescurrently the fastest runner on this planet, as “humble”, but Lewis says: “When you see him, he’s animated on the track and everything. But behind the scenes, he was very humble and very easy to work with.”
