Michaelah Montgomery, a former Georgia Republican Party staffer and coordinator of Conserve the Culture, which brings together HBCU students open to conservative ideas, appeared onstage at Trump’s Aug. 3 rally after the previous president’s controversial remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to the Associated Press, Montgomery she is the lady who organized Trump’s appearance at Chick-fil-A in April, which resulted in several viral videos. It was later reported to have been staged, with Montgomery impersonating a customer on the fast-food restaurant. There were photo ops of him hugging Trump at a Chick-fil-A in Atlanta. He often tells the story of a black woman who hugged and complimented him during his stop.

According to a recent performer on stage, Trump continued to spread the parable that he didn’t know who Montgomery wasthough she was the one who did the now popular Chick-fil-A thing.

“I walked in, she was behind the counter, she didn’t know I used to be coming, after which she said, ‘It’s President Trump.

“She looks at me. ‘That’s President Trump. You saved my college.’ And I say, ‘How the hell do you know that?’ She says, ‘Yeah. She’s so smart, so sharp. She got me,’” Trump said.

During a recent Trump rally, Montgomery criticized Harris, saying she had done nothing for the black community, and said, “Her record as a prosecutor aside, why don’t we ask Ms. Willie Brown if Kamala Harris cares about black families?” The remark was in reference to an ongoing rumor, which turned out to be false, that Harris dated former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown while he was married.

In 2020, Reuters I checked out the Brown and Harris rumor that spread on social mediaand concluded: “While the photo appears authentic, he had been separated from his wife for more than a decade when he dated Harris in the mid-1990s. Their relationship, which ended in 1995, was no secret.”

Since Montgomery’s comments on the rally, some on Twitter/X have criticized her alleged fraud arrest, while others have pointed to her connection to controversial conservative political activist Charlie Kirk and right-wing podcaster Candace Owens. Trump, meanwhile, has called her “amazing.”
