Gucci Announces New Group of North America Changemakers Scholarship Recipients – Essence

In exciting news, Gucci has revealed the fifth cohort of its Gucci Changemakers North America scholarship program. The report explains that 12 recipients have been chosen for the 2024 academic scholarship program, which the brand says is reinforcing its commitment to “nurturing underrepresented talent and promoting creativity in its communities.”
Initially launched in 2019, the Gucci Changemakers North America program has led to Gucci’s commitment to “driving meaningful change in the fashion industry,” the report states. The Gucci Changemakers North America Scholarship Program, which is supported by nonprofits through the multi-12 months Impact Fund, is exclusive in its aim to uplift and empower undergraduate students who share a standard goal of pursuing projects and other endeavors in the style industry.
According to , the scholarship is to give attention to “students with unmet financial need who are interested in the fashion and design industry.”
Not surprisingly, the 12 fellows are pursuing different profession paths, as mentioned earlier. Each fellow will receive a $20,000 academic stipend. Mentoring and virtual internships shall be available through Gucci Americas.
