The public’s love of rap battle was put to the test as we watched in shock as the criticism of Drake and Kendrick Lamar grew increasingly personal and scathing with each passing week.

Even after Kendrick was declared the winner in May, the “Not Like Us” rapper appeared to keep Drake at bay with punches until he either backed off or gave up altogether.

Now that the dust has settled — somewhat — Drake’s recent photos have turn out to be the topic of speculation, with the Canadian rapper’s gaunt appearance on social media leaving many wondering if the exchange has taken a toll on his health.

Just last October, Drake announced that he was taking “maybe a year off” from work to give attention to stomach issues which have plagued him for years.

“I have to deal with this, I have a lot of other things I want to focus on” Drake said just months before Kendrick appeared on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” in March and then released “Not Like Us” in May — the trigger that ignited the newest flare-up within the decade-long feud.

“So I’m going to close the studio doors for a little while, I don’t even know what a little while is. Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer,” he told media on the time.

Needless to say, his free time plans were placed on hold when he jumped into one of the crucial epic battles in rap history — and lost. When photos recently surfaced from Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July party within the Hamptons, Drake’s lanky frame and bags under his eyes were on full display. His concerned fans were quick to voice their concerns.

One of the fans had an urgent matter message to people around Drake: “Please someone check on Drake, he looks sick.”

Another just wants the rapper to drink water and feel higher. “Drake looks really bad…he’s losing weight and looks dehydrated,” they are saying. he wrote“Please let the goat recover. I am praying for this brother.”

Nearly two weeks later, Drake posted more photos on his Instagram Stories. Holding a water pipe, the Toronto rapper looked significantly thinner than he did six months ago. Fans couldn’t help but theorize that Kendrick has an Ozempic-like influence on him.

“@kendriklamar this guy is losing sleep and weighing on you, he’s depressed. Or maybe Drake overdosed on Ozempic?” one asked, tagging a Drake foe in his post.

Ozempic is a controversial weight-loss drug popular with celebrities that could cause stomach problems.

“These oversized clothes make sense, ozempic. Drake looks MUCH slimmer lately,” a fan commented on Instagram.

Kendrick accused Drake of using Ozempic to lose weight and undergoing a cosmetic procedure known as a BBL, which is brief for “Brazilian butt lift,” in his song “Meet the Grahams” — each claims are unfounded.

Many observers attribute any eventual weight loss to intrigue with Kendrick.

“Kendrick made his brother older in 3 months” he wrote one Instagram follower. “Drake is really stressed out. He lost weight. This shit must be weighing on him mentally. He should sit down somewhere and stop pretending everything is fine.” commented by user X. Other a fan noticed“agl lost a lot of weight from the effects of that beef.”

Outraged supporter he went a step furtherblaming the entertainment industry. “Drake announces he has health/stomach issues and will be taking a break…and in less than 6 months of that announcement, he gets attacked by the entertainment industry and y’all are talking about ozempic instead of worrying about his well-being?”

Just last December, Drake published photos golf outing on his official Instagram looking healthier. Whatever the case, Drake is understood for bouncing back in epic fashion from major feuds — whether he wins or loses.

It’s been almost a decade since he followed up Meek Mill’s “Back-to-Back” diss track in 2015 with “Hotline Bling,” a song that reached No. 2 on the Billboard 100 and became one among his biggest hits. And we will’t forget when Drake took hits from Pusha T of their long-running rap feud only to record 2018’s “In My Feelings,” his biggest and most viral song of all time.

“Top 5 of all time? Drake has always been there” DJ Akademiks said. He just must drink some water and get some sleep!
