Remember That Viral Video Of Michael Ealy Hugging Meagan Good While Ignoring Jonathan Majors? Here’s What Really Happened

Meagan Good has spoken out after a video surfaced online showing actor Michael Ealy picking her up and hugging her, apparently ignoring her boyfriend, Jonathan Majors.

In videowhich has been viewed greater than 16 million times on X (Twitter), Good’s “Think Like a Man” star Ealy is shown picking her up and giving her a giant hug on the PowerPlayers Mix & Mingle event in Los Angeles. He then walks past Majors to greet rapper D Smoke and his wife, Angelina Sherie. The interaction, which took place on July 10, has sparked debate not only about Good and Majors’ relationship, but in addition in regards to the proper solution to greet someone’s better half.

Good now addresses the viral video. Actress he commented on The Shade Room’s post in regards to the clip, stating that the footage was edited.

“So we’re just going to cut out the first part of the video where Jonathan and Michael first hug and then talk about life over each other — ‘before’ he hugs me like a big brother?” she wrote. “Lol smh super sad that people have nothing better to do than project onto others and intentionally perpetuate negative, misguided comments about parts of life that they have no real context for. Sad. Sigh. But still, God bless you.”

Some fans noticed that it looks like Ealy is welcoming the Majors All movie interaction, as he’s shown coming out of an embrace with the “Creed III” actor. Good and Majors’ relationship has sparked controversy for the reason that actors were first publicly linked in 2023.

Majors was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in December 2023 and sentenced to a 52-week personal domestic violence intervention program. Good’s fans have expressed concern about her well-being since she began dating Majors, saying she could also be involved with him for PR, however the actress said The Washington Post in a recent interview that she is in love, comfortable and may make her own decisions.
