Celebrity couples rocked the ESSENCE Festival Of Culture weekend

As a part of the thirtieth anniversary celebrations ESSENCE Culture Festivalaka, “party with a purpose,” celebrities got here out to have fun with us and brought a special someone along: their better half. Throughout the weekend, couples showed up at the Convention Center, hit up private parties to have fun the festival, cuddled up in the Superdome during our concert series, and in some cases even took the stage together for some exciting conversations. The fun was actually throughout town.

From Da Brat and Judy to Keshia Knight Pulliam and her husband Brad James, along with black excellence, love was in the air at our Festival’s thirtieth anniversary. Pinky Cole and her husband Derrick Hayes showed off their recent hairstyles ahead of the event, where they spoke on the ESSENCE stage to assist one other budding entrepreneur provide you with a groundbreaking idea.

Pulliam and James celebrated his birthday in the Big Easy with friends. They were also there to screen their recent project at the ESSENCE Film Festival, and Pulliam moderated a conversation on the Food and Wine Stage about “Freedom in Farming,” since she and James own a farm. And singer Tank took the stage with TGT to bring back real R&B, but additionally recorded his R&B Money podcast live with co-host J. Valentine at the Convention Center, and went out along with his wife Zena Foster to host the ESSENCE of Black Men event with Larry Morrow at Hide & Seek Nola.
