Black-owned Pizzeria Bird among New York Times best pizzas

Media reported that Bird Pizzeria began as a pop-up restaurant before transforming right into a takeaway restaurant and shall be a sit-down restaurant from next month. Kerrel’s pizza is “New York style, reminiscent of what he ate growing up in Cleveland.”
According to QCity Metro, Pizzeria Bird is one of the popular pizzerias in town. It was named Best pizza at Queen City Nerve last yr. She also mentioned that the restaurant was named Bird Pizzeria as a result of Kerrel’s love of birds.
“He can give names like all birds in North America, so it’s always been like that with us,” Nkem said.
When the restaurant opens its expanded space, it is going to have longer opening hours and a lunch menu.
