‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 4 Episode 3: Monet’s Terrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
I imagine there are few things in life more disappointing than checking out that at the very least one (or possibly more) of your kids are attempting to kill you. It have to be much more disappointing to understand that the choices you made and the way in which you raised your kids essentially served as a blueprint for a life during which your kids attempt to kill you.
This was the fate of a certain Moneta Tejada, who finally received details about who tried to kill her (her children). Pinky pulled footage from the intercom camera at Kate Egan’s house of Diana giving the address to Tommy’s mother. Quickly, last season, Tommy got here back, shot Tariq’s mother, Tasha (there is a LOT of backstory there), and got the address of where Tasha was hiding from her mother, Kate. This address was provided by Diana Tejada, posing as Monet. Diana tried to speak her mother into dying (which is comprehensible considering that Monet had just had Diana, Dru, and Cane’s father killed) as an act of revenge and used Tariq to accomplish that, making him imagine that Monet had given up his mother’s location. Tariq, in fact, was then going to kill Monet, but every part went incorrect (plus Diana almost ended up dead). Phew, Chile.

Either way, Monet puts every part together and the Tejada family feud soon breaks out. What (*4*)– Jay said — nobody wins when there are quarrels within the family? I suppose we’ll see.
In other news, Obi was arrested by Det. Carter and held on the police station for questioning. So, I just like the plot of this show this season, but I actually have to call it crazy: I’m alleged to imagine that Obi, who by all accounts turned out to be quite smart and smart (until he wasn’t), would imagine the police that he had physical proof to prove it that he and Tariq are together? Det. Carter said he had photos of Obi and Tariq and Obi was tense and showing signs of cracking, but he never checked out the photos. Obi would not even open that file to see what’s in there? No way. I do not buy it. I understand we had to search out a strategy to kill Obi, but come on.
Oh, Noma killing Obi turned me on if only since it signals that the death, destruction and chaos within the “Ghost” universe goes on and on. I’m so excited.
Cane and Dru are attempting to maneuver up in Noma’s organization in their very own ways. Dru just wants a greater job (oh Dru…someone kill him already) and Cane comes for power and Noma. Poor Effie. Effie left a gathering at Stanford’s engineering program attempting to help Cane, but learned (by intuition; she didn’t see anything amiss) that Cane and Noma were probably about to begin crashing. Cane, like Tariq, is withdrawn. I believe it’s secure to say that Effie makes some bad decisions in men.
Let’s return to our major characters for a moment. Tariq and Brayden need a brand new supplier, and Davis is working with one. Tariq is a extremely smart and manipulative guy. So Tommy tried to inform him that he had to decide on a side: be a gangster or a civilian. Anyway, Tariq plays Effie by making her think that another person is dealing at Stansfield University, and Cane finally ends up burning the supposed competitor’s supplies, opening the door for Tariq and Brayden to receive the product from the distributor, who now has to maneuver the product.
So now Tariq has the product, Effie and Cane are at odds, Noma just took out her #2 guy, leaving the spot open (although I can not find the listing on LinkedIn), Davis is now a player within the drug game, and Monet kind of has no other no alternative but to attempt to kill Dru and Diana.
THIS is the season I’ve been waiting for.
