Chloe Bailey stars in the latest supernatural horror film “The Exorcism,” but that doesn’t suggest she’s abandoned her spiritual practices on set.

“Exorcisms” is a movie about the making of a movie about exorcisms. During filming, lead actor Anthony Miller, played by Russell Crowe, becomes possessed by a malevolent spirit after years of scuffling with addiction. Bailey stars as Blake Holloway, actress and lead singer of the girl band Vampire Sorority.

Bailey shines in the project, showing off her most terrifying acting skills yet. Bailey, jokingly called a “scary cat” by her co-star Ryan Simpkins, claims she “prayed every day” while filming.

Bailey went on to say that despite the film’s supernatural elements, she “had a wonderful time on set.”

“We would laugh at fake blood,” the singer joked. “There was a large pool of fake blood that was literally a red plastic sheet. Being able to see how these scary movies are made, from behind the scenes, made it less scary for me.”

“It wasn’t that uncomfortable,” she says of her exorcist makeup. “I forgot it was on until people looked at me weird and started laughing. It was really fun. I would avoid myself in front of the mirror because I was really scared. When I went to the bathroom, I just kept my head down and made sure not to see myself. I took a few selfies. I was so happy to be able to take it off.”
