The short video shows her undergoing a medspa treatment involving injections to melt away excess fat on her back.

“Apparently in 2019 I thought I could melt the fat. Thank you for the FB memories,” she wrote under the clip. Her body in the five-year-old clip is a distant memory in comparison with what her followers can now see.

Roman has undergone extreme weight reduction, causing more people to research her figure than to go with her on the stunningly youthful beauty she has retained. In particular, May 25 post showing a series of fashion looks caught the eye of her followers.

One person said, “And the camera adds 10 pd,” an apparent reference to the incontrovertible fact that Roman is probably even smaller in person. Another fan asked: “Why is she so slim?”

Last 12 months, Roman revealed that when she appeared on The Breakfast Club, she was diagnosed with body dysmorphia.

“Every day is a challenge. If I see my collarbone and my bones, that will likely be great for me, but for you, you may say, “Tammy, you have to eat something.” I actually have body dysmorphic disorder. “I didn’t realize I had this disease most of my life until I was diagnosed with it in 2008,” she told the hosts.

The now 59-year-old star became a household name when she appeared on “The Real World” in 1993. She was 23 years old then and an aspiring singer and model. During her appearance on the truth show, viewers witnessed her keeping her mouth shut to manage her eating.

“I used to be tall, 5-9 years old and slim. And I went to this agency, I walked in, and this lady tore me to pieces,” she said in an interview for “The Real”. She weighed just below 120 kilos on the time.

“She literally stood me in front of the mirror and said, ‘You have folds in your back and fat in your knees.’ You have to do something about your beard. Your breasts sag. I got here home in the evening and from then on, each time I checked out myself in the mirror, I spotted that there was something unsuitable with me.

However, her struggles with body image began when she was just 13 years old. The Mayo Clinic classifies body dysmorphic disorder as “a mental health condition in which you cannot stop thinking about one or more noticeable defects or flaws in your appearance—a flaw that appears minor or invisible to others.”

Symptoms include focusing excessively on one’s flaws, using cosmetic procedures as a cure for perceived physical problems, and always comparing oneself to others.

Due to this disease, she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when she turned 50. The disease makes it difficult to manage weight fluctuations. She then confessed that her mind was “warped” and that comments about her being too thin were perceived as compliments.
