Martin Lawrence, the 59-year-old actor and star of the film, is giving a stern explanation about his health amid recent concerns amongst his fans. On June 4, Lawrence appeared on Hot 97’s , assuring his fans that he’s healthy and well after a recent video clip of him at the Los Angeles premiere went viral, sparking concern. In the now hugely popular video, Lawrence and Will Smith are riding a bus and happily chatting with fans on the red carpet, and folks have noticed that Lawrence seems less energetic than his friend.

Smith also took it upon himself to carry his hand and lead him into the crowd. Another video clip surfaced showing the uninvolved actor doing a sit-down interview.

“Now Martin…” said host Ebro Darden. “Everyone says [about] you on the balcony waving to people, [you’re] looking around, where are you looking? People took it as if there was something fallacious together with your health.

“I thought, oh, this is a rock concert,” Lawrence joked, referring to the large audience. What the hell is occurring? [This is] on movie?”

Darden continued to query Lawrence about his health and the public’s concerns about the matter. “I’m fine. I’m in God’s hands,” Lawrence confirmed. I’m blessed. You know, I’m joyful to get up on daily basis. I’m high-quality. There’s no need for people to fret.”

“I’m healthy as hell. Stop the gossip!” he exclaimed, obviously excited about the movie and his upcoming comedy tour.

Lawrence and Smith have been close since the early Nineteen Nineties, and their bond deepened after they played Miami detectives Marcus Bennett and Mike Lowrey in the 1995 movies. We stay up for seeing Lawrence remain healthy, joyful and at peace.
