Ride or Die” a year after Randle appeared in public with a walker, and fans have mixed feelings about it
Fans of Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are delighted with the return of their heroes – Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery in the fourth a part of “Bad Boys”.
Both actors have starred in the beloved series as friends and drug cops living in Miami, Florida for the reason that first film premiered in 1995. However, the changes in the brand new solid aroused mixed feelings amongst many individuals.
Last May, the production revealed “Why Did I Get Married?” actress Tasha Smith will take over Theresa Randle’s role as Marcus’ wife, Theresa Burnett. The change was revealed following a viral video showing Randle in a disturbing state.
“I love Tasha Smith but why did they get rid of my girlfriend Theresa Randle?” wrote one person on X. Another person asked: “Wait. Tasha Smith Will Replace Theresa Randle in Bad Boys 4? WHY?”
One person replied: “Theresa Randle yes sick”
The short, 16-second clip shows Randle wearing an oversized Disneyland resort sweatshirt, sitting on a walker with blue latex gloves on her hands, and talking to a young boy off-camera. Assuming she was struggling with illness or substance abuse, fans began wishing her a speedy recovery.

After the primary film, Randle also appeared in 2003’s “Bad Boys II” and 2020’s “Bad Boys for Life.”
Neither Lawrence nor Smith confirmed the existence of Randle’s movie or mentioned her character in the course of the recent “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” press conference.
However, that does not stop fans online from expressing their dissatisfaction with the brand new film.
“Teresa Randle is replaced by Tasha Smith in #Bad Boys Franchising is a crime that will not go away unavenged!” wrote one person, while one other said, “It’s going to be weird that Theresa Randle isn’t in this movie… But Tasha Smith is a good replacement.”

Regardless of fans’ mixed feelings, Tasha is thrilled to be working with her two longtime friends. During a radio interview with Atlanta radio station V-103, she began by revealing that she had previously worked on the set of “Martin” as Tisha Campbell’s assistant.
However, she needed to refer to her on-screen husband about the chemistry between their characters.
“So when we were kissing, I asked Martin, ‘What kind of kiss do you want to do?’ Because I didn’t want him to say, “You stuck your tongue down my throat!” I said, “You want language? You don’t want the language? I ask, “How would you wish to kiss?”
She continued, “We got married, f**king, kissing, kissing.”
Denying rumors that she was “given” the role on account of her friendship with Will and Martin, she explained that she auditioned for the role of Theresa. She said she wanted them to come to a decision if she was suitable for the role.
“Some people think we’re at a point in our career where we haven’t auditioned yet, but I did,” Tasha said.
She said that “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is her “biggest movie” yet “because it has a worldwide reach.” She also starred in other Tyler Perry projects corresponding to “Why Did I Get Married Too?” “Daddy’s Little Girls,” “For Better or Worse” and shows like “Empire,” “Boston Common” and most recently Netflix’s “Survival of the Fattest.”
“Bad Boys: Ride of Die” hits theaters worldwide on June 7.
