Actress Kate Beckinsale fumes at Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘sociopathic’ ex-wife Shaunie, threatening to ‘steal’ her wig
British actress Kate Beckinsale is clearly not having fun with her friend Shaquille O’Neal.
The ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ star has switched from her traditional prim and proper demeanor typical of a former Oxford student to seemingly gangster-like behavior after reading the previous Laker’s response to his ex-wife, Shaunie (O’Neal) Henderson is unsure whether she ever really loved him.
Shaunie releases her debut memoir, “Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning on Your Own Terms.” In an excerpt, she bluntly wrote, “Looking back, I don’t know if I was ever truly in love with this man, but I fell in love with the idea of being married to the man I had a family with.”
The “Basketball Wives” creator and producer added: “I fell in love with the idea of building a life together. I really enjoyed spending time with him. The (NBA) road trips allowed me to spend some time with my husband and experience life in the NBA.”
In response to the note, Shaq said he completely understands where his ex-wife of seven years is coming from post on his Instagram. It was written in all caps: “I see… I wouldn’t fall in love with myself either. I wish you all the best… (heart emoji) all the love, Shaq.”
The 15-time All-Star then wrote within the caption, “Trust me, I understand.”
Although he claims to have understood, not all of his friends did. Beckinsale didn’t seem to be taking it easy on her comments about Shaq.
“Hey now,” the “Underworld” star wrote in her comments section. “We all have a sociopath ex. I’ve got you – want me to drive over and grab a wig or two? I’ll… love you, man.
Others in Shaq’s comments were shocked or tickled by Beckinsale’s unexpected aggression.
“Gangsta Kate!” wrote one commentator. “Who knew you, ag,” said one other.
A 3rd comment read: “Oh OK. Kate is with s–ts.
One of the sports analyst’s 34.6 million followers also jokingly chimed in together with his request: “Now Kate, I even have an ex you may hook up with now! Are we leaving at dawn or not?
Not everyone praised Kate’s clever comment, with some suggesting that wig snatching had a racial connotation. Others simply wondered what information she will need to have told Shauna.
“I’m not sure it’s fair to call his ex-wife a sociopath when Shaq admitted he made a lot of mistakes in their marriage,” one person wrote, which was supported by one other, equally aggressive comment. “Are you calling Shaunie a sociopath without knowing the small print of their marriage and never offering to snatch the wigs? Lady, sit down before you make your double zero again.
They are stringing along Shauna, but Shaq has said several times that he cheated on her and lied to her for many of their marriage…. The way people hate women… 😭😭 https://t.co/XBFHW1b5fZ

It is publicly unknown why Beckinsale was so compelled to defend Shaq. There are not any photos of the 2 together, nor are there any rumors about them being intimate or inappropriate. There was no dispute between her and Shaq’s ex either.
Many consider she was outraged by Shaunie’s statement.
“Assuming he’s wearing a wig, that seems racist of you,” someone said in support of her comment, adding, “He’s so sorry.”
Shaq and Shaunie were married from 2002 to 2009. From this union that they had 4 children: Shareef, 23; Amira, 21; Shaqir, 20; and Me’arah (18 years old). The original “Dream Team” contestant has one other daughter, Taahirah, 27, from her previous relationship with businesswoman Arnetta Yardbourgh. He played the fiery father of Shaunie’s eldest son, his stepson Myles, 26. Although he was born during Shauna’s previous relationship, Shaq gave his last name during their marriage.
