Torrei Hart says she doesn’t give a rattling when another woman calls her children “mom.” Kevin Hart’s ex-wife has a daughter and a son who were born during their eight-year marriage.

Hart was a guest on an episode of the talk show “The Culture Club,” currently airing on Destah, together with Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, in addition to family therapist Dr. Makungu M. Akinyela. Hart married the “Ride Along” actor in 2003 after meeting him two years earlier in school in Philadelphia. The first couple had a daughter, Heaven, 19, and a son, Hendrix, 16, before divorcing in 2011 on account of the “Get Hard” actor’s cheating. Kevin later remarried and has two more children, 6-year-old son Kenzo and 3-year-old daughter Kaori along with his current wife Eniko.

On the show, once hosted by Claudia Jordan and Osei Kweku, Hart was asked how she would feel if her children called another person mom. Comedian he replied“My kids better not call anyone else ‘mom’.”

Jordan chimed in and said, “Oh, I felt it when you said that!”

“They know better,” Hart continued. “I’m sorry, but no. They know I gave birth to you and I’m not a negligent mother. You don’t have to call anyone else mother and they understand that. And that’s where I put my foot in.”

Hart also cleared up the rumor that she doesn’t have custody of her children, revealing that she has custody of her children 60 percent of the time, while Hart does 40 percent of the time.

“Can I put this out too? Because there’s a misconception that for some reason I don’t have custody of the children,” Hart said of their flexible arrangement. “I have kids every other weekend when I’m supposed to have them, and every other week when I’m supposed to have them. I can either have them for a month or two months.

Foster, who was also accused of losing custody of the children, clarified that “that is not the case,” but added that Usher was awarded primary custody of the children.

The first couple married in 2007 and had two sons, 15-year-old Naviyd Ely and 16-year-old Usher Raymond V, before divorcing in 2009. Foster explained that Usher has always been the main decision maker and that has an impact has not changed.

Torrei is adamant about not changing her name because of her children and the hard work she put in helping her ex-husband rise to the top of the entertainment industry in his early years. She helped Kevin write jokes and was the inspiration for much of his early comedy material.

Against the judgment of others, she later joined Katt Williams on tour and also performed in the April Fools’ Day Comedy Jam at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Torrei joked about the end of her marriage during the April 5 show. “That little nigga didn’t leave me, okay? He got away,” Hart joked to the massive crowd. “That’s an enormous, fucking big difference, OK? Do you understand how difficult it’s to recapture a leprechaun?
