A man allegedly attacked and injured a teenage McDonald’s employee during a heated encounter outside a Missouri restaurant earlier this month.

Video shared by KMOV shows a person dragging 15-year-old employee Aryiah Lynch by her braids across a car parking zone in suburban St. Louis, then slams her head into the ground. He also punched her several times in the face.

The incident occurred on April 8 at a quick food chain in Florissant. According to the Riverfront Times, the suspect, 25-year-old Johnny Ricks, entered the restaurant and threw a tray at the electronic menu in anger.

Because of this, the employees took him outside, where he became more combative, and attacked Lynch. Police say he ‘stopped on her head twice’ on the socket. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a bunch of individuals fighting.

Lynch was transported to an area hospital. She suffered, amongst other things, a skull fracture, frontal lobe damage, lacerations and a concussion, her family wrote in a press release. GoFundMe created to assist her cover her medical expenses. Over $26,000 was raised this fashion. The teenager underwent surgery last week which was a “success” and has reportedly now left the hospital.

– Were you trampled by a grown man? Lynch he told KMOV. “I wasn’t prepared for what was about to happen.”

According to the report, Lynch stated that the encounter initially began at the destination with adult patrons “behaving obnoxiously.” Therefore, the employees insisted on ordering food from the restaurant. Once inside, chaos ensued, with some even spitting on a few of the employees.

“They came to McDonald’s and started spitting on my daughter and the young man at the checkout,” the collector said. “Adults also began damaging McDonald’s property by throwing objects and damaging self-service screens.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ricks was charged with assault and criminal damage to property. Police are talking to witnesses to discover the remaining suspects. The franchise owner said the team is working with police on the ongoing investigation.

“Ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers is paramount to me as a local business owner, which is why we have strict policies regarding workplace violence at my restaurants,” Jimmy Williams told KMOV.
