Grieving Wisconsin community remembers Sade Robinson, 19-year-old college student murdered and dismembered after first date

Family, friends and community members gathered Friday evening at Kilbourn Reservoir Park in Milwaukee to recollect and honor Sade Carleena Robinson.

A 19-year-old student was murdered and dismembered after occurring a first date with a person earlier this month.

“I’m still in tremendous mourning,” said Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough Milwaukee Journal Guardian“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life.”

According to prosecutors, Scarbrough’s daughter went on her first date on April 1 with Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old bartender from Milwaukee. The next day, Robinson was reported missing and a dismembered body part was present in the park. Since then, other body parts believed to be Robinson’s have been discovered in Milwaukee County.

Human stays found on the shores of Lake Michigan as recently as Thursday are believed to be those of Robinson. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said in an announcement that an individual’s body and arm were found on a distant stretch of tree-lined beach on Lake Michigan. NBC News.

Although it has not yet been forensically confirmed, investigators imagine the stays are those of “Sade Robinson, 19, [who] MSCO investigators imagine he was murdered by Maxwell Anderson earlier this month.

Several body parts have been discovered since April 2, including a severed right leg present in Warnimont Park. According to the grievance filed by NBC News, based on preliminary findings, that leg was identified as Robinson’s.

“Unidentified remains were discovered on April 5, 6 and 7 in a Milwaukee neighborhood,” city police said. According to the grievance, “the human foot found near the railroad tracks on April 6 likely belonged to the same person as the right leg.”

Scarbrough said she last saw and spoke to her daughter on Easter Sunday, March 31. Robinson was reported missing the subsequent day, on the evening of April 1, when she went on a date with Anderson and was murdered.

“Sade was a beautiful soul. She was an amazing girl. I couldn’t have wished for a better daughter. There were things that my daughter did that many adults were not able to do even in their lifetime,” Scarbrough said.

Robinson was scheduled to graduate next month with an associate’s degree in criminal justice.

“This has had a huge emotional impact on my family and my parents who love my child, her grandparents, uncle, aunt and the entire community so much. Everyone pulled themselves up. It affected a lot of people in Milwaukee,” Scarbrough said.

To help the family address this tragedy, Scarbrough’s friend founded a Fundraising on GoFundMe According to the web site, Robinson’s funeral is tentatively scheduled for May 9.

“It’s hard for Sade to rest in peace when we are literally searching for her remains,” Brown said in the course of the community vigil.

According to NBC News, Anderson was arrested and stays within the Milwaukee County Jail with bail set at $5 million. The hearing is scheduled for Monday.
