Coach Dawn Staley continues to enjoy her incredible victory over Iowa within the NCAA Women’s Championship on April 7. The Philadelphia native has had an ideal season with out a single loss. Still, during a post-championship interview with “CBS Mornings” host Gayle King last week, she learned that the veteran broadcaster was rooting for the opposing team.

While the coach’s fans dragged King, Staley remained humble, classy and seemingly unbothered when it was brought to her attention.

But it’s over. On Wednesday, April 17, Staley took to her X profile to pose stunts for anyone who is likely to be rooting for other teams in the course of the season. The change got here after Beyoncé sent South Carolina’s head coach a big bouquet of flowers and merchandise promoting her historic “Cowboy Carter” project.

The tweet was titled: “LOVE TO THE TOP!! @Beyonce.”

In the video included within the post, the trainer may be heard saying: “Look at these flowers. I don’t even think they grow them here in South Carolina. Look at the goods. OK… if you know, you know.”

“I will read this card,” she continued, before reciting: “Coach Staley and the entire South Carolina Gamecocks, my family and I have watched your games and rooted for you all season long.”

Adding: “I’m so happy with you. All my love.”

After reading the cardboard, she lined up the 32-time Grammy Award-winning singer’s hit “Texas Hold ‘Em” and told those that didn’t understand the context clues that the gifts were from Beyoncé Knowles Carter.

“It’s Bey and her family,” Staley said. “Mr. Furman. Yes, Blue, you did what you had to do, Blue. Mr. and Rumi. Bey, thank you (and) we appreciate you.”

Fans couldn’t help themselves, apparently just as excited as she was.

“Queens recognize queens!” one person he said.

Other he tweeted, “From one queen to one other. These flowers are beautiful!! It’s wonderful! Beyoncé and the Family are fans of WBB Gamecocks. I even have no words! How cool would it not be in the event that they got here to the sport?

Other posts on X captured the moment the gifts were delivered to the varsity and the enjoyment it brought to all of the staff.

Khadijah Sessions, South Carolina women’s assistant coach, posted a video and wrote, “This is my favorite video from today lol. Because if you know that you know! Put on a ring and dance! BeyHive.”

Staley couldn’t wait to show her appreciation. Hours after the initial post, she took a photograph of herself in a automobile wearing a “Cowbody Carter” T-shirt with the caption, “She went to St. Louis with that… BEY!”

Staley and the Gamecocks finished their national championship season with an ideal 38-0 record. This is just one in all the milestones this team has achieved, According to to ESPN. Now they join an elite league by becoming the tenth women’s basketball team in NCAA Division I history to record an undefeated season.
