The Los Angeles home that Serena and Venus Williams bought for their mother is on the market
Tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams bought their mother a house in 2005 in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Their mother, Oracene Price, lived in the house until 2019, when it reportedly sold for slightly below $2 million. It is the same property back to the market– reports TMZ.
The property was appraised at $4,649,000.
It is a 7 bedroom home with a non-public gated driveway, situated at the top of a hill on a 1.4 acre plot. Whoever purchases the property will receive a tennis court and other amenities, including an in-ground swimming pool, multiple fireplaces and a beautiful walk-in closet attached to the master suite.
Figure 8 Reality listed the property has seven bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms in 5,612 square feet. The contemporary-style residence comes with a big three-car garage. The house was recently renovated and boasts a 5-meter-high vaulted ceiling with “seemingly endless mountain views.” There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, with a big main bedroom wing with walk-in closets, “an expansive balcony, an elegant fireplace and a luxurious skylight-lit bathroom.”
Speaking of Serena, she recently chatted along with her and gushed about how she’s having fun with motherhood after retiring from skilled tennis.
“Motherhood has allowed me to see beauty through the eyes of my daughter Olympia,” Williams said. “We always experiment with makeup together and I think about how these moments will become part of our beauty journeys.”
He tells the media that he also enjoys volunteering at his daughter’s school and takes advantage of each opportunity he gets. He often conveys his competitive spirit not on the tennis court, but while volunteering in school.
“I’m very competitive on that front as well. I sign whenever I can, whenever there is an opening,” Williams said.
