Caleb Williams’ pink accessories are causing confusion and teasing on social media

University of Southern California quarterback Caleb Williams was within the news this week, however it wasn’t due to his athletic ability.

On March 25, he was seen at an NCAA women’s basketball game. When the cameras zoomed in on him, he was wearing a pink phone, a wallet and what seemed to be pink nail polish. This caused social media to query the selection of pink after the general public watched the video clip. But he responded later within the week after apparently being teased.

The player participated within the USC vs. Kansas women’s basketball contest. He was sitting within the stands when cameras captured him waving his arms above his head, which is how people saw the pink items on display.

In a video posted on March 28, Gavin Morris, who’s listed on his X account because the USC Trojans’ associate athletic director/director of player relations, posted a video of him and Williams on the football field. Apparently in response to people teasing him a few clip he watched earlier this week, Morris jokingly asks him an issue, asking, “What does that phone look like?”

“It’s been a long week for you,” Morris said. “Let’s see what this phone looks like, what does the phone look like?”

Williams responds by saying, “The wallet is white, the phone is pink, the case is clear.”

Williams is anticipated to be the primary pick within the upcoming NFL Draft. The Chicago Bears have a pick, and sports experts across the country predict the team will select him based on that pick within the draft.
