Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg expresses confidence that Republicans will work with Democrats to approve the funding promised by President Biden.
During a recent White House news conference, U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told the Grio that a bipartisan infrastructure bill signed by Biden would force Republicans to follow through on the president’s promise to pay for rebuilding the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore after it collapsed within the impact cargo ship against pillars. Federal officials hope to get better not less than a few of the funds once an investigation determines who or what was at fault. Watch in full below.
