Sedona could have been popping up in your feed over the past few years as tourism has grown in the area, and for good reason. Sedona is a desert city surrounded by red rocks, mountains, pine forests and canyons, so panoramic it’s value a visit for its Instagram views and beyond. However, tourism in Sedona has also increased recently as a result of the mysticism of the place.
With many spiritual practices, in addition to workshops and retreats available in the area, Red Rock Country – which provides the area its name – is a really perfect place for meditation, yoga, breathwork, shamanic practices and psychic guidance – and is becoming increasingly popular with abundant during the day.
The attractiveness of this place results not only from its inherent beauty, but additionally from the oral traditions of the indigenous groups inhabiting the area. Indian tribes equivalent to Havasupai lived in the canyons of Arizona for over 800 years, considering Sedona so sacred that many wouldn’t live in the immediate area, going to the city solely for ritual practices.
It is also known that Sedona has one of the highest electric magnetic fields on Earth, the so-called swirls, vortex-like energy centers where energy either enters the Earth or leaves its plane.
