Isabella Strahan supports Louisiana State University football player Greg Brooks Jr. in his fight against brain tumors.

Strahan, a 19-year-old USC student and model, shares her health journey in a YouTube series she began in October 2023 after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a big cerebellar medulloblastoma.

According to PeopleTuesday’s episode shows young Strahan preparing for treatment at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, along with her famous father Michael Strahan and twin sister Sophia by her side.

“We’re at Duke now and guess what we’re doing: icing my feet and hands,” she said before her twin grabbed a camera and shot a video.

“This is what the world wants to see!” Zofia is joking.

Strahan then records the moment he closes his eyes and squeezes a stress ball as a nurse accesses the chemotherapy port in his upper abdomen and inserts a needle. The gadget was surgically implanted and connected to a vein in the upper chest so health care staff could draw blood and administer treatment.

“It doesn’t hurt at all!” she says. “Everything is nice.”

After bonding and starting her second round of chemotherapy, which was a hit, Strahan noticed that she and her family were wearing sweatshirts that said “Pray for Greg Brooks.”

Like her, Brooks was diagnosed with medulloblastoma and underwent emergency surgery in September 2023 to remove a brain tumor positioned between the cerebellum and the brainstem.

Strahan said Brooks’ grandmother brought them together and now they each support one another through chemotherapy for the same rare diagnosis.

Describing Brooks as inspiring, she said they’ve the same treatment schedule – they’re each just ending their second round of chemotherapy – and maintain day by day contact.

“He’s one I keep in very close contact with and I look forward to meeting him in person one day,” Strahan said, People magazine reported. “He is the sweetest and his family helped me.”

“We are going through this together,” she added. “Keep fighting. Please pray for Greg because he is so sweet.”
