Jordan Emanuel in ‘Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard’ Season 2, Her First Year on Reality TV: ‘It’s Been a Whirlwind’

Jordan Emanuel has had a “turbulent year.” The reality star is gearing up for season two of Martha’s Summer House, and Grio caught up with Emanuel to debate her Bravo journey up to now, what we are able to expect from this season, and more.

“The wind is twisty,” Emanuel joked. “It was an interesting journey because with ‘Winter House,’ I shot it before ‘Summer House’ aired, so it was like back-to-back, I have no idea what’s going on in my head.” Emanuel, the breakout star of the primary season of “SH:MV,” immediately appeared on one other Bravo series, “Winter House,” which brings together stars from each “Summer House,” “Vanderpump Rules,” “Below Deck” and more.

With two seasons of reality TV under her belt, Emanuel had a different perspective as she began filming the second season of “SH:MV.” She told us: “I feel once you go into it and you do not know what to anticipate, all of it seems a lot harder at that time. I definitely approached the second season more calmly.

“You know, I was also struggling with a lot of hair loss and a lot of personal issues,” she explained. “What was everyone stumbling over, I assumed: How do I find a solution, just shut up and are available to a solution? What are we doing? It was a much faster speed.

As Emanuel mentioned, he allows the home, after which the audience, on his journey with baldness. “I didn’t go into last summer going, ‘Oh yeah, I’m going to talk about this.’ I think it naturally came up in the conversation you’ll see between Summer, me and Preston, and then it evolved into another conversation within the group, which wasn’t necessarily my choice, but I’m an honest straight shooter, so it worked out.”

“I think it was a natural part of what I was going through,” she added. “And in fact I’m going to share with my friends what I’m going through. And that is the way it turned out.

Since Bravo released the season’s trailer, Emanuel has gained praise from viewers online, with many seeing themselves on her hair loss journey, which has surprised the truth star. “I used to be definitely surprised by the quantity of people that talked about it, who were going through something similar or knew someone who was going through something similar… individuals who just didn’t feel so alone in this journey. I suppose I didn’t expect that. “I don’t know if I knew what to expect, but yes, it certainly surprised me.”

As for the upcoming season, Emanuel looks forward to viewers attending to know her and her castmates higher. “I’m excited for viewers to see us having a little more partying and having more fun and looseness as a collective,” she teased. “I think we have a lot of great theme parties and a lot of great events.”

The second season will premiere with an prolonged episode on Sunday, March 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
