Although fans speculated that Beyoncé would pursue country music, in February she confirmed the public’s suspicions and, as part of the “Cowboy Carter” premiere, she released two singles from her upcoming album during the Super Bowl. The singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” became popular amongst loyal listeners, who expressed their excitement to listen to the remaining songs.

Since the release of her first album last month, Beyoncé has been spotted in public quite a few times, every time spotted wearing cowboy hats, and appears to be having fun with her arrival on the country music scene. In preparation for the premiere of “Cowboy Carter” in late March, Queen Bey promoted the premiere with a trailer and shared photos on Instagram of her wearing Western-inspired attire.

Additional details on what fans can expect from “Cowboy Carter” have been limited. However, on Monday, country music icon Dolly Parton hinted that the album might feature a canopy of her hit “Jolene” by Beyoncé.

For other surprises, fans may have to attend until the official premiere of “Cowboy Carter” on Friday, March 29.
