After Grammy album defeat, Beyoncé will receive Innovator Award at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Days after releasing her highly anticipated eighth studio album, Beyoncé will appear at the 2024 festival. iHeartRadio Music Awards receive an innovator award.

Beyoncé will appear at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to simply accept the distinction at a ceremony hosted by Ludacris on April 1. She is recognized for her pioneering profession: a long time of creative risk and impact on popular culture on a large scale, in addition to last yr’s groundbreaking Renaissance World Tour.

Ludacris will also perform, joining the previously announced lineup of Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae.

Cher will receive the iHeartRadio Icon Award.

Beyoncé is coming “Act II: Cowboy Carter” is a sequel to the acclaimed 2022 “Act I: Renaissance”.

Last month superstar singer became the primary black woman to top Billboard’s country music chart after the uptempo country “Texas Hold ‘Em” reached No. 1 on the country chart.

Beyoncé earned five iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations this yr, including R&B Artist of the Year, R&B Song of the Year (for “Cuff It”), Favorite Tour Style, Best Fan Army and a brand new category, On-Screen Favorite, for: “Renaissance: Beyoncé’s Movie.”

Taylor Swift leads with nine nominations, followed by Jelly Roll, SZA and 21 Savage with eight. Behind them is Olivia Rodrigo, who scored seven.

Public voting is open from: iHeartRadio.com/awards and will end on March 25 at 11:59 p.m. PDT for all categories.

The show will air live to tell the tale Fox starting at 8 p.m. EDT. It will also air on iHeartRadio stations across the U.S. and on the app.
