We agree on one thing: finding the motivation to exercise in the course of a worldwide pandemic is difficult. The silver lining? While we will not experience the energy, excitement and uplifting music of classes at a few of our favourite fitness studios, many have expanded their digital offerings (live streams or on-demand classes) – so we will enjoy them right from the comfort of our homes .
And because all the time and perpetually #AllBlackAll the pieces, you will find loads of Black-owned fitness studios to suit every workout style. While historically the boutique fitness industry has not been known for its diversity, there has recently been a movement of Black fitness professionals and entrepreneurs who’ve stepped in to fill that void, and we’re here for it!
Whether you are looking to learn latest twerk moves in a dance-cardio class or find your inner balance with sun salutations, we have curated eleven Black-led virtual fitness classes, streaming services, and subscription services to motivate you to stay fit , stay secure, and stay home.
