Meet the hooded fisherman who stunned the Internet by catching a shark with his bare hands in a viral video

Armed only with his bare hands, Rasheen Bailey, a fisherman from Florida, gained huge popularity after a video of him catching a shark hit the Internet.

A clip posted to the Instagram account of his company Hood Fishing Entertainment shows Bailey, wearing a gray sweatshirt and black shorts, grabbing the shark by its dorsal fin after which releasing the fish back into Gulf Coast waters near Pine Island in Bokeelia, Florida.

Viewers usually are not aware of the actual capture, but two photos show Bailey holding a large fish, possibly a sandhill shark, on his body.

In the post, the fisherman wrote: signature“Another day, another SHARK.”

His followers gushed over his skills in the comments section, writing: “Man caught an entire great white fish like it was a catfish.”

Another joked: “Crocodile Hunter has nothing against Shark Catcher.”

One person wrote on X: “IT’S FR’S SUPERPOWER.”
