Buy from a Black Woman extends its partnership with H&M until 2024
Buyers rejoice! Buy From A Black Woman (BFABW) extends its partnership with H&M USA for its Inspire 2024 retail tour.
The nonprofit BFABW works to lift awareness for Black women business owners.
H&M shared this exciting news on March 8, International Women’s Day, while hosting its fourth annual International Black Women’s Day event. There, BFABW founder Nikki Porcher and H&M’s regional director of inclusion and variety, Donna Dozier Gordon, spoke about their continued support and continuing to raise the nonprofit organization’s mission.
As we enter the fourth yr of the partnership, H&M will proceed its efforts and direct programs to advertise the economic growth of Black women entrepreneurs. Since 2021, the Swedish company has been helping to develop BFABW’s Inspire Tours and Holiday Market, in addition to the Black Women in Business Accelerator program.
Porcher mentioned H&M’s commitment to their cause, which also included a $250,000 donation in 2022.
“It takes more than just saying ‘support Black women business owners’ to support Black women,” Porcher said in press release for its first launch. “H&M USA is a true example of what a company that uses its resources to give back to the community looks like. I’m excited to partner with H&M USA and travel the country to bring light to all Black women business owners who feel unseen. Through this partnership, I will be able to expand the room so that more Black Women can move in.”
This yr’s BFABW Inspire Tour will visit international cities to expand the audience and customers. For more information on the continued partnership, visit the web site, where Porcher speaks about H&M’s commitment to empowering Black women business owners.
