We are joining the investment effort to bring the largest casino in the world to Queens, New York

Nas is making some serious moves and it’s all in the name of his hometown.
The legendary Queensbridge rapper is reportedly teaming up with Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) as a part of a $5 billion casino expansion plan in Queens. According to reports, project leaders want to achieve the same appear and feel as the Las Vegas properties.
The current casino floor at Aqueduct Park will likely be expanded to 350,000 square feet, making it the largest in the world, according to a press release.
“This is an ambitious project that may provide recent opportunities for the hard-working families who call Queens home, attract top-notch talent and nurture the next generation of leaders. It is evident that with this project the world is ours,” Nas said in a press note.
The effort has drawn support from celebrities equivalent to Kenny “The Jet” Smith, current host of “NBA Today.”
“Resorts World approached me with a clear goal of supporting future athletes, student-athletes and leaders both on and off the field.” Smith said in a press release. “Their investment in this Academy will help us teach the next generation the nuances of the game on and off the field, in addition to the social, economic and cultural impact of sport. I’m excited to work with them to improve the borough I grew up in and take it to the next level.
In addition to the casino facilities, RWNYC has committed $50 million to the Genting Innovation Campus, which is able to house the Kenny “The Jet” Smith Academy, a community health and wellness center, the Queen’s STEAM Institute, a brand recent entertainment venue, Greenspace, a luxury hotel and the Center Conference.
“When we stood here a dozen years ago to break ground on Resorts World in New York, our vision went well beyond the already ambitious original plan – today that vision may soon become a reality,” Robert DeSalvio, president of Genting America East, said in an announcement .
This is just one in all many smart investments Nas has revamped the years. Per was an early investor in Ring, the smart doorbell company, in addition to Dropbox, Lyft, and Tile, amongst many other corporations.
