Jessica Williams is a multi-talented one that has achieved success in various fields comparable to comedy, acting and podcasting. As of yesterday, she will add an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series. A make-up artist helped her prepare for the camera, I like Brooke Hill.

“Jessica wanted everything to be as natural and clean as possible; highlighting the colors of your dress in a very subtle way,” Hill tells ESSENCE. “A key technique that I always prioritize is skin preparation. This approach ensures that the makeup will be flawless and enhance your natural beauty.”

The makeup artist began by cleansing Williams’ skin with Even Tone cleansing bar from Urban Skin Rx. She then took advantage of Transparent and even tone cleansing glycol foundation to cleanse pores and forestall skin from becoming oily during the day. To be certain her skin was in good condition before applying makeup, Hill used YouthHero AM/PM Serum AND Vitaleyez Dark Circle treatment for a smooth, awake look. Finally, Hill complied Illuminating moisturizer with vitamin C + Eto sculpt Williams’ face and provides it a lymphatic drainage massage.

To complement Williams’ curly shoulder-length hair, done by a hair stylist Miles JeffriesHill used Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech medium coverage foundation AND Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Moisturizing and anti-puffiness concealer to create a flawless base. She also added peach blush to her cheeks with the kit Gucci Westman Bichette stick blush.

For the mouth Hill used Forever Limitless brown makeup foundation and applied Hourglass Cosmetics Unlocked Soft Matte Lipstick in Tigerlilly in the middle and Sparrow in all places else. Additionally, she used L’Oréal Volume Mascara in Carbon Black to offer Williams’ lashes a voluminous look, which is her trusted “set staple.”

For Hill, the joy of awards season doesn’t end with creativity and painting Hollywood’s most beautiful faces; this also applies to the contacts he builds. “I first met the talented Jessica at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. She immediately became one of my favorite people to work with because she is incredibly beautiful, kind and incredibly hilarious,” says Hill. “It’s always an honor to collaborate on their look with the talented artists on their teams and help them tell a story through their look.”
