YouTube brings its affiliate program to India, partners with Flipkart

Just ahead of the local holiday season, YouTube has introduced its affiliate program to India, allowing uploaders to tag products of their videos and earn recommendations. The company has partnered with Walmart-owned e-commerce site Flipkart and clothing retailer Myntra to make its product catalogs available to uploaders.

To be qualifies for the affiliate programcreators should have their channels listed within the affiliate program and have at the least 10,000 subscribers.

YouTube already allows chosen creators in India to post offers on their channels, and now creators can tag products to discuss of their videos, shorts and live streams.
