In a recording published on November 26 by 9MagTV, he began by saying: “Okay, I’m sitting here. I’m wondering. All I can think about is how I stayed up all night, how I did it, as usual, I went to the Hawks game, as usual. Still, I got up and went to give back to people in the community.”

“People ask me for favors all the time, they ask me for money all the time,” he said, before directly addressing the anonymous people within the video. He continued, “And you’ll be able to’t even come to help me help other people. So now I work for you. I’m sitting here providing you with money to provide help to because you’ll be able to’t get your act together. Or I help the unlucky and you help the unlucky, and you do not even come. I’m just sitting there considering, “Man, you guys really need to leave me the hell alone for a minute.” These are real niggas that just need to take into consideration this man. What else did you do?

The giveaway took place at Esco restaurant and tapas bar Chainz in Atlanta on the morning of November 26. The rapper and his wife Nakesha Ward-Epps organized the event through their nonprofit organization Tru Foundation, which they founded in 2011.
