Food critic and former MMA fighter Keith Lee hires a bodyguard to protect himself and his family after a wild fan encounter in New Orleans
Keith Lee catapulted the celebrity of obscure restaurants and modified lives with his food reviews on TikTok – his influence became so powerful that it was dubbed the “Keith Lee Effect.”
In just three years as a restaurant reviewer, the former MMA fighter has amassed over 17 million social media followers who swarm around every place he reviews. But his fans aren’t just swarming the restaurant – they’re equally furious with the 27-year-old, with Lee revealing the incident that eventually forced him to hire security.
While most fans ask for a photo or restaurant advice, some people react to the intense after they see their favorite viral food critic live. The turning point got here when the Las Vegas resident was visiting New Orleans, Louisiana, and crazy fans piled into his automotive.
It was an eye-opening moment for Lee, who had at all times traveled only with family and close friends.
“Before I could think, the car was surrounded,” he said Rolling Stone. “People stop at green lights, jump out of their cars in the middle of traffic and run up to us to take pictures, crying and screaming.”
The former featherweight has been open about his struggles with anxiety in the past, so it is smart that he would step up his security.
“I’m not a one that likes conflict. I even have the best security you possibly can have. God is at all times watching over me,” he said, adding that he was ready to jump in if needed.
“My hands are registered too. I’ll beat the hell out of somebody if I even have to.
It wasn’t that way back that Lee was a mixed martial arts fighter nicknamed “Killa” with an 8-5 record in 13 fights. Outside of the fighting cage, Lee’s social anxiety made it difficult to give interviews, so he turned to social media to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and the remainder is history.
“I used to be very nervous. I used to be sweaty. It would break my whole day if I used to be told I had to do an interview,” Lee revealed. “You can’t be a successful professional fighter and not be good on the mic. So I took it upon myself to start creating TikTok. “I just arrange the camera, began recording myself and pretended there have been 1,000 people watching me and used it as an outlet to look higher on camera,” he said.
Now the viral critic is speaking to tens of millions on the Internet and is bound to cause a stir. Lee’s latest dining outing has already sparked controversy after he posted a negative review of a Michigan restaurant and choked on a bite of food.
This followed his now infamous visit to Atlanta, where he criticized several restaurants, sparking nationwide debate and threats against his family. Earlier this yr, he announced his 2024 “Redemption” tour, which is able to take him back to Atlanta, but this time with a barely larger setting.
@keith_lee125 Talking concerning the Family Redemption food tour 💕 would you are trying it? 💕 #foodcritic
“We come in peace. With that in mind, we will be protected. These are people who are with us, who are legal and licensed,” Lee said of the tour, which has now been postponed. “We don’t need to use them, but we’ll. My the family will return home safely, and I mean that with every bone in my body.”
With power comes great responsibility and apparently a few bodyguards.

The TikTok clip ended with the words: “I swear I’m now an official member of the James family.”
Holmes captioned her post: “I feel stuffy because I’m sick! But I swear he knows me! Lol, what do you’re thinking that? Lots of guffaws.”
Other TikTok users shared their thoughts on what Holmes needed to say about meeting LeBron James at an NBA game in Memphis.
For example, one person on a social media site wrote, “Girl, he (he) wonders why you’re filming it like a documentary.”

Are you telling me that in the pantheon of great NBA players, LeBron James is the ONLY one who has remained faithful to his wife? No… He’s clearly mocking Savannah at this point. The real query is why she feels so strong to do that.
This wasn’t the first time Holmes uploaded videos to her social media accounts while attending an NBA game. She also captured footage of LeBron and his relations.
In January 2023, she posted a video on TikTok of the four-time NBA champion playing on the court, noting that she was sitting Courtside seats for $5,000 with a friend. After a month she caught it one other clip featuring LeBron chatting together with his wife, Savannah James, while the mother of three sat on a court in Los Angeles and shook hands with her signature pair.
Holmes reposted the same video of LeBron and Savannah in November 2023. Her caption To read“In honor of the 2023 NBA season, I had to say this. VERY happy I was able to capture it (on camera) that night.”
X’s fans were equally stunned by the woman’s brave behavior online. “He’s a stalker, he even dresses like his wife. He needs to get a restraining order.” he said one person as one other he wrote“Savannah looks like she’s struggling. She higher watch out.

50 Cent punches homeless man for dating Chelsea Handler after Kevin Hart drags her over ‘nasty’ shower confession
Hygiene practices are a private matter, but when a divisive topic is exposed to the general public eye, the “dirty job” conversation leaves the toilet. This was the case with Kevin Hart, who appeared on his friend Chelsea Handler’s “Dear Chelsea” podcast.
The two comics began debating how long an individual should scrub when washing themselves a number of weeks after fellow comedian Tiffany Haddish suggested scrubbing the African with peroxide and baking soda.
Since Hart and Handler were black and white respectively, it didn’t take long for their experiences to alter.
The hot topic got here up when answering a viewer’s query about bathing a dog in a house bathtub as a substitute of outside – a latter practice that Hart says Black people often take part in.
Nevertheless, it opened the door for Handler to admit that cleanliness was about efficiency, not the detailed removal of excrement.
“Why do you might have to clean your feet? They are rattling covered all day long. It’s not like my legs are weak without me,” she asked, leaving Hart stunned.
She continued: “And when I shower, all the soap in the shower runs off… It’s not like my legs are in the garden all day without me.” Through laughter, the Acting My Age joker said, “That’s not good. You fucking wash your feet!
Handler replied, “No, I don’t think so.”
They continued to exchange words, and Hart asked her to make clear: “What do you mean you’re not thinking?” The former E!’s best response The personality she could offer was to ask why someone’s feet would have to be washed directly.
“It’s your body. Wash your body, Chelsea. Your whole body. You don’t pick and select,” Hart said.
Kevin Hart reacts to a few who bathe their dog in the identical bathtub they use and says Black people don’t let their dogs sleep of their bed.

The former late-night TV host admitted that she had “hot spots,” prompting one other fit of laughter from her co-host and Hart. “I have hot spots that I wash. I get one, two, three, four,” Handler said, pointing to her armpits, groin and butt. She further explained, “I do that and the fifth one is the head and then everything is fine.”
Hart disagreed. – No, it isn’t, Chelsea. Their conversation was further derailed when Handler revealed that she, too, was skipping cleansing between her toes because “Who went in there?”
At this point, Hart was forced to argue that 1) there have been other hot spots that Handler had missed and a pair of) that each a part of the body deserved scrubbing because humans naturally “create sweat.”
In short, they agreed to disagree on sweat. “This is where we’re culturally different… It really is and we just should nip it within the bud. Besides, you most likely don’t even use a cloth to clean dishes,” Hart said, as Handler interjected to substantiate his suspicions that she only uses her hands.
The discourse about white people skipping scrubbing their bodies thoroughly and never using cloths is an ongoing topic. Famous stars, equivalent to Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, even admitted that the tennis phenomenon made him realize how necessary it’s to make use of greater than a bar of soap to clean your body.
Recently, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce revealed that he doesn’t scrub his limbs above the knee. The brother of Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce even suggested that the foot washing mentioned within the Bible only is sensible because Jesus wore sandals within the “dusty desert.”
As for differences in cultural hygiene, Hart said it will probably be easily remedied. “If we just heard white people say, ‘You know what? I understand the washer and I understand it. OK, about that, I’ll meet you halfway and I’ll use the washcloth. That doesn’t suggest I’ll wash my whole body. (…) Let me at the very least start by admitting that using a washcloth is significant,” he said.
Adding: “Double bang with no washer and just hot spots, that’s a lot. It’s a lot to digest.”
But listeners Don’t think it’s that straightforward. “Excusing dirt is beyond terrible,” wrote an Instagram user. Other he said“Chelsea, if you’re being rude, just say it because there’s no way that’s coming out of your mouth with a straight face!”
Someone else commented, “This conversation is making me itch.” And like many others, one person brought up the subject of her ex, stating, “50 had her legs wrapped around her.”
Another said: “No way 50 Cent… nvm.”
Rapper 50 Cent and Handler dated briefly in 2011. Unlike him and ex Vivica A. Fox, the hitmaker and comedian have remained on friendly terms because the end of their transient romance.
However, the 2 continued to keep up a correspondence, and the Queens resident posted dirty photo Handler on her forty first birthday.
He still calls 50 Cent hisfavorite ex(and the one ex-boyfriend I still get asked about in every interview) who gets extra praise in my @hbo special,” in response to a 2020 IG post.
It’s unclear why they broke up, but Handler once said so “Nas” weekly.“Honestly, I do not know if I can handle it. I prefer to rejoice and I actually try to not get into anything serious.
Handler didn’t provide details, but suggested the breakup had something to do with a former partner from the Nineteen Fifties.
“We dated for a few months and then we had a fight. One of his ex-girlfriends came on my show,” she said he said on Howard Stern’s morning show in 2012.
She obviously appreciated the heads-up, but it surely wasn’t something she wanted to have interaction in. “I used to be like at my job. It was so childish that I used to be at work.

Snoop Dogg under fire as outraged fans attack him for ‘bullying’ the powerful rapper who needs to ‘put down his chicken wings’
Rising rapper Dave Blunts he has fans willing to fight for him – even when it means fighting Snoop Dogg.
Snoop Dogg is in hot water after being called out for comments he made during which he trolled Blunts about his weight following the latest artist’s viral performance.
Last week, Blunts, 23, performed his viral song “Cup” in front of a sold out crowd in Los Angeles.

“Let’s put down the chicken wings and Tata Nefew chips and the chair will break and soon we’ll reach the end of the cup,” Snoop announced in the caption of his Instagram post.
While several comments on the post maintained the same mean-shaming dynamic towards Blunts and his size, many were disillusioned that the rapper lent himself to the mean energy.
“That’s not cool, uncle,” one person said. Another one then appeared and replied to Snoop, “help him instead of clowning around.”
The fan suggested that Snoop and other trolls take the opportunity to learn more about the rising rapper.
“I did a little deep dive into his account and he’s a very laid-back guy. He definitely doesn’t deserve to be laughed at. Snoop will definitely end his relationship with him. @iluvyoudaveblunts <——- good guy,” they said.
One follower responded, calling the video a cry for help. “We watch this man sing about ending himself. Someone please tell this man to discover a therapist and a coach. One of his first viral hits, “Hospital Bed,” included wild comments about his dangerous behavior in front of a nurse. Blunts added to the frenzy by sharing a video of himself recording the song from his hospital bed.
Blunts talked to Complex earlier this summer with the June release of his album “Well Dude Here’s My Thing.”
“People still think I’m joking, but this shit is real,” he says. “I keep all my receipts.”
“I most like to rap about women, my friends, traumatic experiences and controversial topics,” he stated in his latest apology about the content of his music. “Whenever I play my music for anyone, I just think, ‘Hey man, I just want to let you know that I’m talking some crazy shit. I do not know what’s incorrect with me. And I’m sorry.
