Last week, our March/April cover star Beyoncé muted us again after sharing Cécred wash day ritual with her natural, dyed hair. “Keeping blonde on natural hair for 25 years thanks to all the experimentation played a huge role in the development of Cécred products,” she writes on Instagram. “Colored hair is the hardest thing to keep healthy and strong, but Cécred is here.” Choosing color over perms or relaxers, Bey’s long blonde tresses are the results of expert color preservation during the last quarter of a century.

For greater than 10 of those years, celebrity colorist Rita Hazan he was answerable for treating the queen’s mane. “I always focus on the health of her hair – it is necessary to keep her hair thick and vibrant,” Hazan tells ESSENCE. Recognized for the influence her color treatments had on the event of Cécred, particularly A ritual with fermented rice and rose protein“Conditioning treatments are essential and I never over-process her hair, regardless of how light she wants it to be [it],” she says. “It’s great for improving its softness, adding shine and reducing brittleness.”

Dispelling the stigma that individuals wearing wigs cannot have long, healthy hair, Hazan explains the difference between dye wigs and natural curls. “Wigs are usually preserved, so the color can be a little more aggressive than natural hair,” she says. But “Beyoncé always wanted to [her hair] be lighter.” By shedding light on the gradual change in her natural hair color, “we were able to work together to slowly lighten her hair to maintain the health of her hair while achieving the shades of blonde she wanted.” (Think: tanned blonde for the Renaissance World Tour).

The means of coloring the queen’s hair is easy. “I work fast,” says Hazan. “I do one process to lighten her natural color, then we tone it and maybe add a few extra highlights.” Apart from A conditioning treatment after each coloring to moisturize and strengthen the strands, a key a part of care is knowing when to give your hair a rest. “Coloring her hair hasn’t had any negative effects because I always make sure her hair is healthy,” she says. “I know when to stop.”

Hazan’s coloring techniques, known for achieving a real blonde shade without the brownness, are also heat resistant. “It’s easy to maintain color while applying heat if you incorporate a weekly treatment into your hair care routine,” she says. For Beyoncé, heat protectant and Cécred Moisturizing Sealing Balm prepares hair for warm tools (reminiscent of Dyson Supersonic, Air compress and the “old ironing comb” he uses.) “If you use the right formulas, the color will never fade.”

Which zodiac sign has the best MCs? A scientific look at a critical query.

Published

on

By

Touré, theGrio.com

Astrology could also be a profound strategy to understand the world, but does it allow us to deeply understand hip-hop? For example, have you ever ever wondered which zodiac sign has the best MCs? For example, if there was a Versuz where we grouped MCs by zodiac, which one would win? I believe there may be one signal that can be a clear winner.

First of all, I comprehend it’s not my sign, Pisces. We have Method Man, Tyler, the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and Lil Dicky. That’s a solid 4, but there are higher signs.

I do know they are not Leos – their best are Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert and Chief Keef. These guys sold a lot, but there are higher signs. The bull is a bit skinny too – Travis Scott, Meek Mill and no person’s favorite, 6ix9ine.

Sagittarius has a very strong lineup – Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, The Game, DMX and Offset. Like Aquarius – J. Cole, Gucci Mane and Megan Thee Stallion. But at best they are available in third place.

Music

In my opinion, the second zodiac sign for MC is Libra. They include Lil Wayne, Snoop, Eminem, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Young Jeezy, Cardi B and Childish Gambino. It’s a very strong lineup. It’s like an all-star MC band.

On a side note, is there a correlation between Libra traits and the personality of great Libra MCs? According to Susan Miller, my wife’s favorite astrologer, Libra is male “Very intelligent. Libra rarely lets emotions get in the way of their analytical process. They are constantly taking in new information and processing it, trying – as the scale tilts – to find their center.” I’m unsure these descriptions fit these MCs.

Sign #1 is certainly Gemini. You’re talking about Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Biggie, Tupac, Ice Cube, Lauryn Hill, Ye, Takeoff. No one can beat this group. They are mental, they’re revolutionary, they usually are amongst the leaders of the old and recent schools.

Does the traditional Gemini personality match the great Gemini MCs? I believe so. Susan Miller says the Gemini man does “filled with wit and charm, often the focal point, as he delights everyone with a recent joke he has just heard or a story about something that happened to him at work. Since Gemini is ruled by Hermes, the messenger of the gods, Gemini individuals are often writers or reporters.

It by some means matches this group. When I believe of Kendrick, 3K, Kanye, Big and Pac, I believe of people who find themselves witty and infrequently find themselves in the highlight in hip-hop culture. They are actually MC writers who concentrate on lyrics and reporting about their worlds. There can be a clear duality to a lot of these people – Kendrick, 3K, Big and Pac rhymed about the streets and love. Their music means that you can discover many sides of humanity.

There’s definitely something special about this sign – Prince, Lenny Kravitz, and Patti LaBelle are also Gemini. Happy birthday month to most Geminis. You have another thing to rejoice – your musical brothers are leading the culture.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 to win the 2024 NBA Finals, however the highlight was on Jayson Tatum’s rumored girlfriend, singer Ella Mai, and her baby bump.

On June 17, the Celtics forward made perhaps his best performance in the deciding game of the series, ending Game 5 with 31 points. Tatum, who was drafted third overall by Boston in 2017, celebrated his first championship win, which was seen in viral videos which have now gone viral.

Another video that took social media by storm is a clip of R&B singer Ella Mai waiting in the sector hallway for Tatum after his victory.

The recording shows the singer wearing a Boston jersey with the number “0” and waving on the NBA star. As she turned to Tatum to hug him, many social media users noticed the very noticeable baby bump and started speculating that the British music star is perhaps expecting her first child.

The video, which received over 1.7 million views in the primary few hours, was posted on X by a fan who also wrote: “So Ella Mai IS pregnant. What a W yr Tatum.

“We see victories on and off the field. Congratulations,” another person he said.

“Ella Mai is pregnant. This baby will be as bright as a light bulb,” a fan he was joking.

As the congratulations poured in, many fans still had no concept that the “Boo’d Up” singer was dating the five-time NBA All Star.

People The magazine reports that they’ve been linked since not less than 2020, after the singer apparently posted a photo on Instagram in 2019 to take shots on the NBA star. Although neither of them have ever publicly gone public with their relationship, Tatum and Mai have been spotted together several times over the summer.

In 2022, Tatum and the four-time Grammy nominee joined Michael Rubin for his yearbook Fourth of July party. In September 2023, the alleged couple was seen next to one another again at the marriage of Memphis Grizzlies player Marcus Smart. Then in November 2023, Tatum helped the R&B singer have fun her twenty ninth birthday in New York City.

When asked about her love life during a 2022 sit-down on The Breakfast Club, Ella Mai danced round her and Tatum’s romance.

“There are rumors that you are a Boston Celtics fan,” co-host DJ Envy suggested.

“Oh really? … I’m definitely a basketball fan, but you know I’m not one to talk about my dating life,” the “Boo’d Up” singer replied.

Despite remaining mum on her romantic relationship with Tatum, comedian Michael Blackson has apparently lifted the lid on their secret after revealing on “The Breakfast Club” that he tried to shoot the singer before the NBA player told him she was married taken away.

While attending Mike Rubin’s 2022 Fourth of July party in the Hamptons, Blackson said he noticed a beautiful Black woman who looked like a normal person, not an exaggeratedly thin celebrity. He approached her and struck up a conversation.

“Suddenly I was tapped on the shoulder,” he recalls. “I said, ‘Are you okay?’ and he says, “Yes, I’m good because I’m together with her.”

True to the best way she talks about their relationship, Ella Mai has not confirmed that she is pregnant. However, rumors that she is pregnant have been circulating on the Internet for months.

In April, a fan went to X to share with the world that his father saw Ella Mai and Jayson Tatum at a baby shower and that the singer was pregnant. Screenshots of the tweets were posted to @wagsunfiltered3.0 on Instagram.

“Bro, my dad saw Jayson Tatum at the infant shower, man. I believe MF has one other child,” wrote a fan. “My dad said he had a child with some famous singer. Ella Mai probably cannot think about one other person. He also said they feasted on fried chicken.

Now that the Celtics have taken home the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, videos and photos have surfaced online showing Ella Mai’s pregnancy becoming more visible.

This might be the 29-year-old’s first child and Tatum’s second. Tatum’s son, Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr., also referred to as “Deuce”, often helps his father warm up on the basketball court before Celtics games and was in attendance to observe his father win his first championship ring.

Tutum was just 19 and a Duke student when he first came upon he was going to be a father.

“I wasn’t thrilled,” Tatum said Everyday Adirondack. “I was a little selfish at that time because I knew I was going to chase my dream and be in the NBA. I felt like it could influence what people considered me, where I’d go in the draft.

He added: “I would be the first to say that I wasn’t very excited when I found out I was going to be a dad, and I quickly realized it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. There’s nothing better than being a dad. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason.”

According to Tatum, having a son taught him a sense of responsibility, which proved useful to him throughout his skilled basketball profession.

“And I believe – not that I believe so, I do know – that having Deuce at that age grounded me. Because whatever decision I desired to make, I needed to ensure that I’d handle him. “I couldn’t just get up and go or do all the things that some of my peers did because I had to come home and put him to bed,” he stated.

Although Tatum was not named NBA Finals MVP, he is widely considered the highest talent on the Celtics’ roster. The Boston Celtics have now won a record 18 NBA championships, having previously tied the Los Angeles Lakers at 17.
